The end of Defiance for me

Let me start by saying I do love the game. The world created, the characters, the gameplay mechanics all work well. My problem is with the server issues, the ridiculous nerfing of weapons in a skill based game, and the utter lack of communication from the developers, and their customer support.

After 2 server patches in as many weeks, which seemed to fix nothing, I have had enough. It is impossible to play a game when your maps take forever to load, or you die because you have to hit start, wait for your character screen to load so that you can switch to the proper loadout. How about when your driving along, and suddenly your car explodes, and you die in a blaze of blaster fire all before the screen loads the cause of this tragedy. or when the bad guys you are fighting magically keep teleporting off the screen.

 I could go on, but I will just get angry. Angry that I paid 30 dollars for a game 3 a month ago that is now on sale for 10. or that I got a whopping 6 dollars in trade for it. I have 3 year old games that are worth more on both fronts.

The forums are full of valid complaints and issues that go unanswered, or shut down by the now skeleton crew still working on the game, and the only time the twitter feed replies is when they have taken offense to a post.

How about the fact that your Executive producer leaves, and this is a guy who worked for CCP, you know the guys that made EVE Online. I mean the issues and warnings are all there, screaming that this game has failed. Yet still there is a loyal following that like a broken dog keep coming back begging for more.

Ok you know what i am over it. In a little over a month D3 comes out on PS3, until then i have plenty to keep me busy. In Fact I am finally getting around to playing Metro: Last Light, so expect some thoughts on that soon.

I just want to warn those of you that are thinking of trying the game, that it is a broken piece of Shtacko from a developer that could care less about you. and to those of you still standing by the man, speak in the only language they understand $$$$.
