Firefall and back in love with Defiance

So I promised that I would finish my thoughts, I wont say review, because i cant promise you i will play a game long enough to properly review it. That and i so bad english...omg i need a bigger desk. Oh i promised i would finish my thoughts.......on Firefall.

Up yeah...I got super bored with it after about 8 hours. The complete lack of a linear story, outside of go do stuff and save the bases kinda bugs me. I love sandbox worlds, I love open worlds, but i also want a sense of purpose. I want a sense that i am moving somewhere, even if i do it at my own pace and time.

There is none of that with this game. it quickly becomes simply about racing other people to little quests, or resources, unless you can find a group to let you in. and for someone as socially awkward as me...that isnt the easiest thing to do.

So let me lay it out for you all quick and dirty like. The graphics are decent, similar to Champions online, the gameplay is easy enough and fun, i mean come on big guns and jump jets. the story is forgettable, seriously forgettable. the crafting is more complex than most games, once you start to understand it.
Basically if your looking to run around with a bunch of other peeps to do random stuff, or the idea of being someone who keeps the bases free of badguys is your idea of fun then check the game out. just dont expect it to hold your attention...ooohh dragonfly...

Now for the game i love and hate at the Same time...Defiance. I gave it another chance last night, and i think that scaring it with a trad in did the trick. Cause she ran fine. I did a couple of minor arcfalls, and a couple of co-op maps for rep, along with a handful of side quests, and didnt run into any issues. Everything loaded they way it should and i didnt get booted from the server. Of course i stayed away from major Arkfalls, as i have a sneaking suspicion that it is possible that the servers cant process all those players on one screen at one time...idk, maybe its possible, just my theory. The game worked and i got to play for a couple of hours before watching Serentiy, and then jumping into the Last of Us.

Yeah for ADD!!!!
