MMO gamers are methheads

Ok dont get your hackles all raised up. I dont mean it literally.

So Defiance crashed last night...shut up, We already know that i have a love hate relationship with the game, and yes I traded it on on my PS3...And yes I tried it on PC....and yes i bought it...and breath from that run on sentence that my editor that i dont have would not have approved of. Holy Shtacko my coffee just kicked me in the head.

So confused right now. So yes. I am back on the wagon. And the servers go down yesterday. for quite a few hours. Holy bat balls Robin did the tweakers come out in droves. like a horde of zombies on a really big person with a lot of meat.

As i watched the forums, in between watching the Hero, and playing Please stay calm, and Firefall, and I realized it was a different game, but the same reaction to a common problem in MMOs.

Here are things you can count on in an MMO....

There was always be that group of Leet players that are 12 yrs old.

A patch will always break something

Servers will crash

the Tweakers will all rage out at the same time.

DLC and Expansion packs will be delayed, launch then break the game.

These things should be expected, and should be on the launcher.

So why do all these people freak so hard when it happens. I remember on WoW when a patch would break the game for a day...I bet the devs, and community managers all aged 20 years in 24 hours, they way the crackheads would go all raging crybaby on the forums. They say being the President of the good ole U. S. of A is the most stressful job...no way.

I mean do i get upset when the game is down...yes. You guys have seen my level of frustration with this game and its issues, but do i take to the forums to rage out on everyone...hell no. I, surprisingly enough, have a level of self control and civility. I also realize it is a temporary problem that is being worked on. So i find something else to do. watch TV, spend time with the wife, something other than hover over my keyboard like its a crack pipe. And i sure as hell dont go to the forums and embarrass myself like a spoiled little brat.

I know we all love our video games, and or little virtual worlds we hang out in. I know it is frustrating to have the game not be there when you want to play, but O M G people lets show a little restraint and act like civilized human beings.

Ok caffeine is leveling out and ADD is kicking in...so i am done here.
