Console wars

So I work for a certain used game retailer and the big question that I answer every day since E3 is which system is better? I honestly don't understand this question because if your a gamer and have paid any attention to E3 then the answer is obvious.

Hold on lets back this train up to the XBox1 reveal

ok well there you go question answered...Xbox one is a DVR and Call of Duty player.

No seriously, lets look at specs really quick

Both have an 8 core cpu, both use 8 gigs of memory, but wait Xbox use DDR3 while Playstation is going with DDR5.
That means Xbox is using current gen memory while PS4 is using future tech. Both have a 500 gig HD, but you cant replace Xbox's HD, and guess what, you can replace the PS4 HD. Both have HDMI, but PS4 also has an analog setup. What does that mean? Basically if you dont have an HDMI TV you cant use XBox One.

So for the most part the tech is about the same for both systems, but wait...if you watched the Xbox reveal you will know that Xbox One is running not 1,not 2, but 3 operating systems...so all that Awseome tech inside is being used to run operating systems.

Now lets go to E3 and the Statments made by Microsoft about always online, DRM, sharing games, and all the other nice things they said that showed us that Microsoft doesnt care about gamers, oh wait thats right they took it all back, they were just kidding. Too late in my mind, especially after they said if you dont have internet thats just too bad.

Meanwhile Sony Had this to say

Sony built the PS4 after Asking developers what they needed to make the most epic games ever. Then they asked they gamers what they want in a system, and then they built that system.

Now the biggest issue of all, Price. Xbox1-500 dollars, PS4-400. But Will you say, the Xbox has the Kinect. Yes it does, and in my mind the kinect is about as lame as as the Power Glove was. of all the people I have talked to no one has said "Oh man the kinect is soo cool, I use it every day" Nope most people tell me they have never once used the thing.

I'm sorry Xbox fanboys, but everything we know about the new consoles points to the PS4 being the Gaming console of the future, while if you want a neat DVR Xbox is your Choice.

As always it comes down to personal choice, but in this gamers mind the choice is simple.
